Ipswitch

Approximately 30km West of Brisbane city central, Ipswich is a small town that (bet you didnt know this) was originally going to be the capital city of Queensland.

As you may have guessed, its not, but it gave me something to add here.

Ipswich is said to offer all the "modern facilities and attractions of a progressive city" ... Meaning there is nothing actually here yet, so bring your psp for any decent entertainment :)

The best entertainment in Ipswich would be to do the race track around the UQ campus which goes through the bus terminal. Failing that you could go check out the pretty cool Autobahn they have there which has a downstairs level for the car tuners and "ricers". Pretty nifty!
